Making a gift in your will or living trust, known as a bequest, is a meaningful way to make a lasting difference to the Berryville Library.  A bequest can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after all other provisions are specified.

Below is suggested language to use while drafting your bequest.

For gifts of a specific amounts or percentage:

I give (dollar amount or percentage) to the Friends of the Berryville Library, Inc., an Arkansas charitable corporation and a qualified 501 (c)(3) organization (104 Spring Street, Berryville, Arkansas, Federal Tax ID Number 84-4478621) to be used for its general support of the operations and facilities of the Berryville Public Library as it shall determine.

If the gift is the remainder of your estate:

I bequest the remainder of my estate of whatever nature and wherever located, which I may own or over which I have the right of testamentary disposition or a power of appointment at my death, to the Friends of the Berryville Library, Inc., an Arkansas charitable corporation and a qualified 501 (c)(3) organization (104 Spring Street, Berryville, Arkansas, Federal Tax ID Number 84-4478621) to be used for its general support of the operations and facilities of the Berryville Public Library as it shall determine.
