December 29, 2023—Wilson Combat is the latest business to announce its support of the Berryville Library Building Project. Cameron Ankele, COO of Wilson Combat, presented library director Julie Hall with a check for $10,000.
According to Ankele, “Wilson Combat understands the essential role the Berryville Library plays in our local community and is honored to support them in their quest to break ground on a new library.”
The Friends of the Berryville Library set a goal to raise $300,000 by year end so that a groundbreaking date could be set in 2024. Over $213,000 of that goal has been raised, leaving only $87,000 remaining.
According to Julie Hall, “Since the campaign kicked off, over $3M of the $3.5M total project cost has been raised, a remarkable feat! We are grateful for the support being shown by area businesses and individuals who also understand the impact a library has on the quality of life in a community.”
